Getting past the bride’s entourage of bridesmaids is certainly not an easy feat for the groom. Wei Liang and his army of groomsmen were not spared as the bridesmaids went to great lengths to test the groom’s sincerity and love for the bride. No doubt the gate-crash brings heaps of joy and laughter to all those involved but the true meaning of this adrenaline-pumped fun is one that is rather endearing. This mandatory haggling session represents the reluctance of Athena’s family to let her leave the home, and to ensure that the groom is worthy enough for their daughter. Needless to say, Wei Liang and his groomsmen successful completed the tasks and overcame the hurdles to finally ‘fetch the bride’. Like the golden hue filtering through the clouds after a storm, Wei Liang victoriously opened the door to unveil his beautiful bride and make her his forever. We wish all the best to the happy couple!

Jerome + Christine

This love story reminded us so much of the classic movie – When Harry met Sally. Eventually, it all falls into place as love has mysterious ways of working. Sometimes, the best love relationships are the ones forged from friendships. Falling in love with a best friend is a far-fetched dream, if not, a fairy-tale for many. For Jerome and Christine, however, it is nothing short of reality. The friendship between Jerome and Christine makes it apparent how comfortable they are with each other, and how easily they can read one another. As their feelings for each other inevitably grew stronger, the dynamic gradually changed, and it paved the way for this new-found intimacy that is a surreal combination of the best of both worlds – friends and lovers. It culminates into a scene right out of a rom-com; these two love birds set their love story in stone by professing their vows in front of their family and friends and we know that their love will only strengthen as they walk side by side into the next chapter of their lives together as one.

"I promise to let you irritate me for the rest of my life." These words uttered by Sharlyn speak volume on the reality of what a marriage is - finding that someone to annoy for the rest of your life. This statement stands out because of its simplicity and relatability. It makes you put a break on seeing love as a dreamy field of daffodils swaying in the gentle breeze and pulls you to its humble reality. Song Koy and Sharlyn show us the significance of embracing laughter in a relationship. We all know the clichés - laughter is the best medicine; laughter is the sunbeam of the soul; laughter is the shortest distance between two people. The crux of the matter is that being with someone who makes you laugh is the key to a marriage that stands the tests of time. Cheers to love, laughter and a happily ever after for the newlyweds!

Maximillien + Junyun

"Bienvenue à la famille", a wedding story that we've crafted for Maximilien and Junyun, yet another breakthrough in how we do narrative storytelling in our films. When I met Max and Junyun back in December 2015, it was particularly memorable for me. I got to know them after the wedding of Chin Guan and Vyla. It was after the wedding, they contacted me and said they wanted to engage me for their wedding day. They wanted to make their wedding day video intimate and personal, hence, they planned their wedding from scratch.

Max and Junyun are very particular about food and service. They made their wedding celebration an intimate one by having it at Da Paolo Bistro Bar at Rochester Park. Max's parents visited a baking factory in France to arrange for mini financiers to be flown in into Singapore as desserts. They loved the theme of having an outdoor wedding, so their solemnisation ceremony set stage with the greenery of Rochestor Park. They wanted to thank the most important people in their lives so they penned down speeches to thank everyone present. The entire wedding celebration had so much love. It was an emotional wedding luncheon and I believed everyone present could feel their love.

Alphonsus + Claire

Alphonsus and Claire were almost 2 years into their relationship. They were looking at getting a new house; they were planning at getting married. But Alphonsus hasn't proposed. They wanted to do away with the wedding engagement to save up for the wedding, however, Alphonsus didn't feel comfortable without the proposal, he didn't want to shortchange the love of his life. Hence, he decided to plan a simple proposal for Claire, with just some of their closest friends. He sat down with friends of theirs and brainstormed on how he should propose. "Ave Maria" is Claire's favourite song, there's no better way to propose to the love of his life with her favourite song, a DIY arch and many many personalised decorations. Catholic Spirituality Centre was the place they met, there's no more meaningful place Alphonsus could pop the question. Stay tuned for their wedding highlight video as we will share the video soon.

Ernest + Yi Ling

Ernest and Yi Ling have solemnised their union in early 2016 and yet, they chose to renew their wedding vows when they had their customary matrimony. It was moving to see how they put in so much effort into organising their wedding day, with vow renewal and their first dance. For couples who are already married, we all know that wedding planning is never easy. The more activities or restraint we have to work with, the more expectations we will need to meet. Nonetheless, Ernest and Yi Ling chose to made their wedding day all the more memorable with personalised vows for their vow renewal ceremony and a first dance. Their vows were not only to show their loved ones how much love they share, but also to renew their love for each other because it's in every of their tomorrow, these will be the vows that stick. Thank you Ernest and Yi Ling for having us on our wedding day and congratulations on embarking on your next chapter together.

Nicholas + Li Ting

Nicholas is someone who likes super cars, collect watches and coffee shop food, one who values luxurious collectibles. Li Ting is someone who likes good food, values intimate connections with her loved ones and loves her bubble teas. Both of them lead different lifestyles, yet it's through their different personalities, they find strength in each other and decide to enter this lifelong commitment. Through Nicholas' tears as Li Ting's parents entrust their precious daughter with him, we, as content creators, know this love is here to stay. Congratulations to Nicholas and Li Ting as you embark on your next chapter together as one! Whether it's 'meepok' or fettucine, they both taste awesome with the right culinary masters! May you continue to enjoy 'meepok' and fettucine together, experimenting different ways of enjoying your noodles.

Daryl + Shu Han

When Daryl approached us to capture his wedding proposal to Shu Han, he had alot of ideas on the proposal set-up. But he had one challenge, the biggest obstacle was to keep her in the dark. Shu Han has been very sharp, knowing that being together for about 7 years, at the time of the proposal, Daryl will be proposing really soon, just don't know when. Hence, with the help of Matt, he created a photoshoot contest on Facebook. Meet With Matt was giving away one free photoshoot to one couple with the most memorable story shared. It was a very organic approach and seemingly easy job for Daryl because Shu Han found out about the photoshoot without Daryl doing much. Needless to say, there could only be one winner and Daryl and Shu Han "walked away" with the "free" photoshoot. So it happened in NTU, where they first fell in love. They had the idea to use coloured powders for the photoshoot and it was after which, Daryl popped the question with a surprise party by their friends in NTU Hall 14. Shu Han would have never guessed that Daryl would propose when they all looked messed up because she has told Daryl before that she must look her best when he proposed if he'd like her to say yes! Bearing that in mind, Daryl arranged for her friends to help her with cleaning up and make-up after the messy photoshoot while he cleaned up and get ready for the biggest moment in his life yet. Daryl prepared a video montage with the photos of the journey they've walked together so far and also, a short snippet of him asking her parents for their blessings. It wrapped up with a song strummed by Daryl with a guitar and that was how Daryl won Shu Han's hand in marriage. Congrats to Daryl & Shu Han who just got married last night.
