"More than yesterday, less than tomorrow", this was the quote that Shawn and Angeline chose for their holy matrimony. What should be more than yesterday but less than tomorrow? Some would say it's their wasteline because they're happily married and happy people will "grow" together (if you know what I mean). Some would say it's their bank account because as they start a family, the money in their bank account will start depleting because of many joint expenses including a house to stay in. What's their answer? It's LOVE. Having gone through thick and thin for more than a decade and getting married after that decade of a relationship, if love could be quantified as a currency that may be stored in a bank, they would have plenty of zeros at the back of the first digit. But it's because of the very reason that love should not be calculated, love is sacred. In the eyes of many witnesses and God and at the matrimonial altar, we'd like to congraulate the both of them in conquering their first decade of love. In the next chapter of their relationship, we would like to wish them many more decades together till a ripe old age. If love were a currency, we hope that their love bank will always be filled with zeros at the back of the first digit. To Shawn and Angeline, your story awaits you. Ivan + Viven

"You made me happy and you made me laugh, and if I could do it all over again, I would not hesitate. Look at our life, at the trips we took, the adventures we had. My father used to say, we shared the longest ride together, this thing called life, and mine has been filled with joy because of you." - Nicholas Sparks - Based on a 2013 novel written by Nicholas Sparks, followed by a 2015 film directed by George Tillman, Jr., Ivan and Viven chose this quote to represent their journey together. This couldn't seem more apt for Volkswagen fans like them. As a creative, Viven has dreamt of her dream wedding since she was a little girl. So on 14 May 2016, her wedding day, the entire decoration setup at CHIJMES and Goodwood Park Hotel was planned and executed by her. With the help from her bridesmaids, it was an achievement unlocked for the bride and her bridesmaids. As Viven's father was no longer with her, her mother walked her down the aisle on her wedding day. What really touches us the most that day was the locket on the floral bouquet she was holding because in that locket, it bore the photo of Viven's late father. As she commenced her march-in into CHIJMES, welcoming Ivan, who was waiting at the end of the aisle, Viven did not just have her mother beside her, her father was with her too, watching from high up above in Heaven. Ivan and Viven became official "passengers" in each other's ride as both their longest rides become one.

Darrell + Xue Ling

Darrell loves to cook and Xue Ling loves to bake, their greatest joy would be to spend time in the kitchen preparing gourmet dishes and then head out for a picnic to enjoy their fruits of labour. I guess there probably isn't a secret to how to maintain a successful relationship but if there were to be a secret recipe for a successful relationship, through the love story of Darrell and Xue Ling, the answer would probably be enjoy common interests and embrace all odds. Celebrating the love of Darrell and Xue Ling as they embark on their next chapter as one.

Remember that Chemistry lab lesson you had back in school, when we had to deal with chemicals and measuring them in exact quantities using a measuring cylinder at eye level so as to remove parallax error? When was the last time you measured or quantified something? What was it? Usually, it's something tangible, but what if it's intangible? Like love? If it's love, do you quantify it in terms of the number of years or simply judging from which stage you're at already? Well, today's story is not so much about the parallax error but it's more of the idea of measurement and partly related to school, because that's where I met both Eileen and Samuel. That's besides the point but most importantly, school was the place where love between Eileen and Samuel blossomed, from being classmates to friends and finally lovers. Knowing them both for more than 9 years already, it was weird at first to see two individuals with such different personalities, becoming one. Samuel was the calm, quiet and usually expressionless chap whereas Eileen was bubbly, chatty and always filled with smiles on her face. I guess opposites do attract afterall. To Samuel, Eileen has become "such an immeasurable part of his life that he could no longer remember what life was without her". To everyone who knows Samuel, I'm sure you'll agree that this is the first time you hear something like that from him. To Eileen, I'm sure you feel the same way too. By the look on Samuel's face when Eileen said yes, I think love is really just immeasurable for the both of them, just like how you cannot put a value to the happiness on their faces - immeasurable, priceless. Let us all look forward to their wedding day on 20 September 2014.

Li Lin + Alvin

When will you regard someone as your hideaway in life? In Chinese, we call it 避风港. Regardless of the storm's immensity, your hideaway will always be there, sheltering you, protecting you, keeping you safe and sound. I think that's how Alvin is regarded upon when it comes to Li Lin's emotions. Whether it is up or down, Alvin is always there for Li Lin. Just like their love, a ring is a circle without end. Having known them for years, they are everything to each other, they're inseparable. Even after 7 years of being in a relationship, they would still miss each other if they do not meet for a day or two. Alvin is her personal chauffeur, listener and punching bag. Li Lin is his personal assistant, organiser and planner. But most importantly, they're husband and wife, the pillars of support for each other. Here's to Li Lin and Alvin, a blissful marriage ahead and may you stay forever so loving. Being the first to get married among our friends, we hope to see many more good years ahead. May + Yong Tat

9 long years... It has been 9 long years of friendship with both May and Yong Tat since our college days, from the time they really hated each other while being in the same CCA, it slowly transformed into love for the both of them. Chubbies was a name started by them and hence, the name Project Chubby. As their relationship celebrates 5 years of love next month (September 2013), this video marks their next phase together, from being in a relationship to becoming engaged. Deborah + Min Sheng

Min Sheng and I knew each other since we were 11 and we weren't very good friends to begin with, unless you classify someone as a friend when he grabs you by your collar threatening to whack you. Having seen his transition from the 11-year-old boy back then to the future doctor he is now, I must say the transition is simply remarkable. We were primary and secondary school classmates before moving into different parts of our lives. Being able to witness him reciting his marriage vow to Deborah was a truly emotional moment for me. I totally agree with Pastor Ivan, that Min Sheng "knows what he wants, and he doesn't waste time in getting it." I firmly believe that Deborah was the girl arranged by God, for Min Sheng, all this time in his life. Wishing both of them eternal bliss and continue to share this special relationship with God. Congratulations once again!
